WordCare is a document tool for reading, editing, converting, and organizing PDF, Word, and other document files, plus a document scanner and on-device handwriting recognition. WordCare can be used fully without creating an account ("Guest Mode").
Creating an account is optional and is only needed so your document history can later sync or be found across your devices. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for providing accurate information, and for all activity under your account.
Documents, images, and text you import, scan, or create in WordCare ("Your Content") remain yours. We don't claim ownership over Your Content. You're responsible for having the rights to any content you process in the App, and for complying with any laws that apply to it.
Don't use WordCare to process unlawful content, to infringe someone else's rights, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the App or its backend services.
Most of WordCare's features (reading, editing, scanning, on-device handwriting recognition) run entirely on your device and don't require an internet connection. Optional features (signing in, and in the future, AI-enhanced recognition or cloud backup) require an internet connection and are only used when you explicitly choose them.
WordCare uses Firebase (a Google service) for optional account sign-in. If you connect a cloud storage provider (such as Google Drive) for backup, that provider's own terms also apply to your use of their service.
WordCare is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Always keep your own backups of important documents.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordCare and its developer aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data.
We may update these Terms as the App evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date when we do. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
